I AM HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, New play. An interactive play set on Christmas Eve, 1968, performed in various locations in historic downtown Jonesborough.
THE INITIAL YEARS: A new novel in progress, based on a character with the Federal Writers project in 1939. Readers can click on the link, and read nearly daily excerpts.
STORYTOWN PROJECT: Creating a play based on Jonesborough stories, which will then be filmed and shown daily at the International Storytelling Center. Accompanying this will be an interactive app for smart phones in which virtual characters from the play will guide audiences through historic downtown.
JONESBOROUGH STORY ADVENTURES: Working with the Creative Team in Jonesborough, TN, developing Green-Screen films based on local stories by, and performed, by youth.
THE PROVEN WILL: A play based on transcripts from a landmark case in Washington County, Tennessee, involving the rights of freed slaves.
JUNIOR YARNSPINNERS: Teaching young people the art of story, and many different applications of using story in theatrical performances, for radio, in animations, comics, and more.
ANIMATE YOUR STORY: Teaching community members--adults and children-- how to create short stories and then present those stories in an animated format with voiceovers and music.
